Andrea Lang is a Paralegal at Bassett Murray Law Group, PLLC. Specializing in gerontology, aging policies, and programs, Andrea uses that experience to help caregivers and their families help apply for long-term care Medicaid, Community Medicaid, Supplemental Security Income, Social Security Disability, and Veterans Benefits.

By focusing on supporting caregivers, older adults, and persons with disabilities, Andrea has been able to put the Master of Science in Gerontology and Bachelor of Science in Health Administration she earned at Bowling Green State University and Eastern Michigan University to use. Before joining Bassett Murray Law Group, PLLC, Andrea served as a Program Manager for Caregiver and Social Services at Area Agency on Aging 1-B, serving community organizations providing services and programming for older adults and caregivers. Previously, she worked at Catholic Social Services of Washtenaw County as the Program Director for AmeriCorps Senior Program RSVP. She enjoyed the interaction between retiree volunteers and how to further help others in the community – focusing on food assistance, senior companionship, Medicare and Medicaid assistance, and supporting grandparents raising grandchildren.

When she is not at Bassett Murray Law Group, PLLC, Andrea is a floral crafter and baker. She loves fishing on the lake with her husband, their dog, and family.
